Frequently Asked Questions regarding Libri

SEEU Libri is designed and developed as part of See University - CST Faculty Reasearch Project.

In this page, we try to answer some of the most Frequently Asked Questions that users may ask when they start using SEEU Libri.

  • What is the link to access my classes in LIBRI?

  • What is the username and password that I have to use to access LIBRI?

We base your LIBRI initial username and password upon information in your Student Records.

The format for LIBRI Username and Password are:

    1. USERNAME: nsXXXXX, where ns are the first letter of your name (n) and surname (s) and the XXXXX are the last 5 number digits of your SEEU Student ID Number. Example: ef03356 (Elizabeta Freski 103356)
    2. PASSWORD: ******* For your security, LIBRI requires that your password must contain both upper and lower case alpha characters, at least one numeric character, and at least one special character from this set { } ! # ” $ ’ % ^ & , * ( ) _ + - = : ; ? .
  • I logged into LIBRI, but one or more of my classes are missing. What should I do?

There are several occurrences when this might happen.

    1. The first instance is when your instructor has not opened up the class for your use. Email your instructor or speak with him at your next class meeting.
    2. The second instance is when your instructor does not use LIBRI with your class. Although we wish they would, not every instructor uses LIBRI with every class. Again please contact your instructor for the status.
    3. The third instance is when you are not registered for the class. Please confirm with your instructor that you are on the current roster for the class.
  • I try to login to LIBRI, but I have forgotten my password. What should I do?

Contact IT Support Service Team in Building 301 and ask them to change your Student Password.

  • I'm using Internet Explorer 8 while browsing Libri and the content is not displaying properly. What should I do?

By default, IE8 interrupts the download of HTTP based resources, such as images, on a secured HTTPS page. In Libri such resources are twitter, google analytics, google CDN(for jQuery hosting) and gravatar images therefore it displays a confirmation dialog whenever it detects the use of mixed content on a secured page. To download the content a user would have to click on the No button. But this is very annoying since you have to click no whenever you navigate to a different page.

    IE8 prompt

But there is a solution to this problem. An IE user can disable this warning by:

    • Going to Tools->Internet Options->Security
    • Select the ‘Security’ tab
    • Click the ‘Custom Level’ button
    • In the ‘Miscellaneous’ section change “Display mixed content” to Enable

  • I am having an issue when using LIBRI. Where do I go for help?

Contact LIBRI Support Service Team in Building 701.03, everyday from 09:00h till 15:00h.

  • How do I update my profile image(gravatar image)?

After you click the icon , there are two scenarios:

    • You are not logged in SEEU Webmail:

If you are not logged in SEEU Webmail, then you will be redirected to the SEEU Web mail page to login:

If this is the first time you're signing in to Libri through federated login, then you will be asked from Google to authorize Libri to sign you in through Google.
